Craft Sunday

It's rather pathetic to say I'm going to get back into this and then not update. How silly of me. I suppose I can update what went down on Sunday, August 10,2008 (yes, I had to state the entire and exact date); which by the way was a craft gathering at the Flint Farmer's Market. I am now a member of the Creative Alliance, and this includes opportunities for vending, attending meetings, and, uhh, other things.

So I woke up on Sunday morning very tired, irritable, stressed, nervous, and exhausted. I was running on approximately four hours of sleep on a cold-and-threatening-to-storm day. I was not prepared as much as I thought I could have been. Silly me, I was thinking it would warm up later in the day, and so I was just dress partly for the cold. My little sister went with me and she was more dressed for the cold, but silly us we were not dressed right for the crummy cold destined day.

Did I mention it was cold? Or mention the crazy wind and downpour? Not very many people showed, but I guess I can say a decent amount attended. I wish the people I told/invited to attend the fun actually showed. I mean, it was a big deal to me. It was my first time vending. Not just first time vending there, but just my first time vending. I always imagined it to be more exciting, big with a large crowd, and surrounded by my friends and loved ones supporting me. That totally did not happen, le sigh. Last time I count on people to show interest in what I love to do.

Anywho, I sold a pair of earrings, four treasure/jewelry boxes, a cosmetic bag, and I traded an iGadget Animal Case for a pair of cute earrings. I hope to have sold more the next time around I vend, but next time I won't stay up late three nights in a row prior the vending day to make everything I was going to sell(so then I won't be all those feelings I stated before).

I'm looking forward to another day of vending on a much more lovelier day, and having a larger abundance of attendees at the Flint Farmer's Market.

The amount of times the word "silly" was used in this post: three.
