My car sort of died today.
I blame it all on karma... perhaps?
No no, just bad luck and shame for me not listening to my [pudge] gut.
That's what I get for driving illegally.
Well, now that my Jimmy is getting a new fuel pump, hopefully mi madre will be okay with me taking the stupid road test.
I highly doubt it. She doesn't want me driving. She wants me home... always.
Her baby bird cannot leave the nest. Oh no no no.
Her baby bird cannot leave the nest because she loves her so so so.
Baby gets no independence 'cause she has so much to learn.
Baby gets no experience 'cause she don't need to. Oh no no no.
I have to thank Derek though.
He was my alibi. He was the one that was driving, since you know, he is the licensed driver.
Goodness, I'm 18 years old and my mother will not let me take my road test. How shameful.
I've learned my lesson though. If I try to stick it to the man, my car will die on me and I will have noone to help me besides some car mechanics that attempt to save my car and sanity (and overcharge me). Oh, and that lying to my mom will help me not be in serious trouble.
Lying rocks!
....sorta.
At least I got to open the sun roof and listen my sweet summer mix while I drove. Fab. That's all I gots to say.
One of the featuring songs on my mix - enjoy the vid.
The Unicorns "I Was Born (A Unicorn)"
Words flow more adequately in ink straight from my body. Sometimes I refill my pens from the marrow in my bones.

we learned life lessons today. namely that sometimes it is okay to do something you probably should not have. in fact, it can actually be a good thing.
Pssh, that's whack. Completely whack.
(Granted, you're right behind me right now, so I could just be telling you this, but you're busy, so I didn't wanna distract you. talk about meta.)
Cars are frustrating. It is whack, as Eric said. My nose is itching right now. It's taken me much longer to respond to this because of said itchy nose. I've basically rebuilt my stationwagon due to all the repairs. It's like a transformer now.
